For My Aunt...

As you know, I've been terrible at updating my blog. This update is for my aunt, because I'm pretty sure she's the only one who still reads it...here are a bunch of pictures of what I've been up to this summer!

Loved having these girls as my roommates for Winter Semester!

Updates!

I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a long time! Thank you for sticking around, whoever is reading this! You're a trooper! I'm loving life at the Y, but it's been crazy busy with midterm tests and essays. Here are some pictures of what I've been up to lately...

Provo City Center Temple

On Saturday, I had the opportunity to go to the Provo City Center Temple open house with my family and roommates. The temple is absolutely beautiful! I love how they incorporated the pioneer heritage that was associated with the tabernacle. Very unique, historic and gorgeous temple!

First Weeks at the Y

I've been at BYU for nearly a month now and I'm really enjoying it! I like my classes, I only got lost twice and I love my roommates. I have a roommate from China, New Zealand, Connecticut and the other two are from Utah. They're amazing and hilarious.
Things are a lot different here than they are at Utah State. There’s definitely a different feel here. I can’t explain exactly what it is. It’s just different. On the first day of my classes, my professors started to quote scriptures and apostles. At first I was like "Wait..what?" Than it hit me that I was really at BYU and that it would be a regular occurrence. It's fun and continues to be an adventure!

2015: A Year in Review

2015 has been a great year! I went on a lot of adventures and was able to have experiences that have helped me learn and become better. I'm looking forward to the new adventures that await in 2016!

Here are some things I did throughout the year...

1. Finished my first year of college at Utah State. Hard to believe that was still in 2015...seems like ages ago!

2. Went to General Conference twice (in both April and October) and Women's Conference! I also was briefly on T.V during the intermediate hymn in April General Conference, my cousin captured a picture of me on her T.V. Haha!

October General Conference
3. Had the amazing opportunity to sing in a Young Adult Worldwide Broadcast with the Logan Institute Choir in the tabernacle.

4. Went to Disneyland during the summer with my parents! It was a blast!

5. Worked in the cherry factor with Kenzie and Emily during the summer. Nine hour days staring at a conveyer belt full of cherries.  I think I would have gone crazy if they weren't there to endure it with me...well, crazier at least.

6. Went on our traditional Jensen family girl's trip to St. George to Tuacahn to see Beauty and the Beast.

7. Payson Temple Open House, Cultural Celebration and Dedication.

8. Started my sophomore year of college and finished up my experience being an Aggie at Utah State.

9. Chose a major and made the decision to transfer from Utah State to BYU (starting January 2016) to become a Family History-Genealogy Major.

10. And I went on a bunch of other random and fun adventures throughout the year!
